About us

The Mt. Lebanon High School Hockey Association (MLHSHA) is one of the founding members of high school hockey in western Pennsylvania. Since 1971-72, it has been providing students in the Mt. Lebanon School District with an integrated program to play ice hockey at the highest levels available. The association has a storied and championship tradition and currently fields five teams: Varsity, Junior Varsity 1 and 2, and Middle School 1 and 2. All teams are registered members of the USA Hockey federation and participate as members of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League (PIHL). Graduates of the program have continued on to play at the AAA, Junior (NAHL, USHL, and OHL), College Club, NCAA Division 1, and Professional levels. The Mt. Lebanon Recreation Center is the home rink for MLHSHA games and practices. In the spring, the MLHSHA hosts the Junior Blues, a developmental program for students in grades 4-6 who are currently at the Squirt or PeeWee level and not presently playing for a Middle School team.
